Fixing time-clock corrections without the back-and-forth
Staff reported time-clock mistakes by Slack or text, and the owner spent hours each pay period checking every timecard and fixing them by hand. I built an AI assistant that works inside the team's existing Slack. It reviews every timecard each morning, asks staff about anything that looks off, and makes the fixes they request, sending anything unusual to me for a decision.
About
I'm Matt Martin. My background spans business intelligence and financial planning at a large tech company, leading a client-facing team in commercial real estate, and running my own small business, so I know what an owner's week looks like.
Today I focus on customer-facing operations and the systems behind them, and I build practical AI tools with modern platforms like Claude. I take on a few projects at a time and work directly with owners and their staff.
